9 chapters into Life Of Pi.
And I’m mesmerised. It’s already one of those books that’s so incredibly well written and slightly magical - it makes me fall in love with reading all over again. Only four other books have truly done that to me before: The Great Gatsby, Dracula, Animal Farm & Invisible Monsters.
Finished Catcher In The Rye, Less Than Zero next. Loved American Psycho so I’ve got high hopes for this.

Definitely incredibly tempted to pick myself up a cheap little Kobo e-reader. I don’t particularly want an all-singing all-dancing tablet, I’ve got a laptop for home use & smartphone for when I’m out. I just want something I can download a shitload of free books on. Something light & small that can fit in my bag that’ll be good for buses/trains and when I go on holiday. Can anybody give me some advice?
17 pages into Interview with the Vampire & I’m already enthralled. What a beautifully written book, you can keep your sparkly Twilight teen angst bullshit.
Not bad for £3.49. Catcher In The Rye has been postponed, Interview With The Vampire comes first - you have no idea how long I’ve been looking for this.
